Community Empowerment & Livelihood (CEAL)

CEAL is a non-profit organisation and true to its vision. CEAL maintains no political, or trade union affiliation. CEAL’s headquarters is based in Australia with organisational operations occurring  internationally. In South Sudan, CEAL will operate as a Non-Government Organisation (NGO), focused on emergence relief and development projects. CEAL seeks to partner with individuals, business’, government bodies, UN organisations and other charity organisations to empower the South Sudanese Community.

CEAL’s main projects address food security/agricultural needs such as irrigation, farming, the plantation of fruit trees, grading, poultry and livestock.

In addition, CEAL projects will address: health, education, clean water and sanitation, capacity building, vocational training, community sensitisation, peace building and conflict resolution and supporting micro-enterprising. CEAL will assist rural communities in Southern Sudan to fulfil their basic needs. By supporting CEAL, you can help make a difference.

You can make a difference today.

Following the civil War in between (1955-1983), South Sudan has been plagued by civil war. Despite intermittent peace treaties between the conflicting North and South, the tragedy of civil war has culminated into unimaginable destruction and loss of life. As a result, numerous South Sudanese people have been displaced from their homes and families, with a fortunate few able to find refuge elsewhere. At its very foundation, CEAL was established to alleviate the suffering, vulnerability and poverty present within the South Sudanese community.

Donations are Tax Deductible for Australian taxpayers.

We believe that people are created by God to live dignified lives. With this as our cornerstone, our mission is to provide hope to those devastated by conflict and marginalisation. CEAL strives to partner with the South Sudanese Community to improve social outcomes in the areas of health, employment, sanitation and education. More than that, CEAL aspires to create community cohesion amongst South Sudanese people at home and abroad.
